Flashback Friday: Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’

Just ask anyone, what is the greatest Halloween song ever? I betcha the vast majority will say the iconic masterpiece from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. That song being, 'Thriller.'

Oddly, the song was originally released during a time when 'Jingle Bells' would be the song people would crave to hear. It was December 1983 when MTV showcased the world premiere and the bar was instantly raised on music videos.

MJ and his red jacket gave us a captivating 13 minutes of zombie filled excitement with the direction of John Landis and model Ola Ray. In 2009, the music video received a very prestigious recognition as it became the very first to be inducted to the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.
