DC started in radio back in 1988 right here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He hosted a very popular and #1 rated night show on Z-102. The ratings were so high (45.1 share) that it led to a feature in R&R Magazine as one of the Top 5 highest rated shows in the USA. While at Z-102 he teamed up with Steve Shannon and thus began the successful “Steve & DC Show” and once again he was setting ratings records in both Tuscaloosa and St. Louis. The popular show was also nationally syndicated in 1996 and was heard in nearly 50 cities in the USA. DC also has a background in music, nominated for a Grammy award for co-writing the #1 smash “The Christmas Shoes” in 2003. DC has four children, two boys and two girls, seven grandchildren and loves Alabama Crimson Tide and Dallas Cowboys football.
