Big Weekend Ahead for Alabama Athletics

Alabama Athletics will be busy this weekend. Crimson Tide Basketball will tip-off the weekend with a big matchup against Villanova in the championship game of the 2K Sports Classic in New York City. Bama Basketball defeated Oregon State last night 65-62 with a big game winning 3-point shot from Rodney Cooper to advance to the final game. Tip-off for the Bama/Villanova contest is set for 6:30 on ESPNU.

Saturday, Alabama Football will take to the field again and try to right the ship after last Saturday's loss to Texas A&M. The Tide will face Western Carolina in Bryant-Denny Stadium at 11:21am, the Tide's earliest kickoff of the season. In addition, you will find many Bama fans pulling for Baylor over Kansas State, Stanford over Oregon, and Wake Forest over Notre Dame this weekend as Bama needs some assistance to get back into the national championship game.
