Woman’s Costume of a Boston Marathon Bombing Victim Causes Outrage
A woman in Michigan thought she came up with a clever costume and decided to show it off not only at work, but for the world to see with her post. The problem being, she didn’t think at all. Instead, outrage erupted as the controversial costume photo went viral on social media.
22 year-old Alicia Lynn Lynch dressed wearing runner's outfit, a race number. Then added, lots of scrapes and blood to finish her 'victim' look. She posed for a photo at work and shared on her Twitter account, ‘SomeSKANKinMI.’
The countless threats soon followed to not only Alicia, but to her family too. You see, the world knew everything about Alicia thanks to a photo she shared on Twitter of her driving license.
Alicia has returned to Twitter with a new account to apologize and beg for the threats to stop as reported by Buzzfeed.

Sydney Corcoran and her mother were seriously injured from the Boston Marathon bombing. Sydney was understandably one of the many sharing comments of anger about the costume.

Alicia Tweets to let us know she was fired and to apologize.
