
Tuscaloosa Rings in New Year with Record-Setting Rainfall
If you thought yesterday was a CRAZY rainy day, you were right-- in fact, Tuscaloosa saw a record amount of rainfall on Monday, January 2, 2017.According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa received close to THREE INCHES of rain--2.88 inches to be exact, the most the city's seen on that day in 51 years. Today calls for a high of 70 degrees, and we're expected to see temps drop through the week. Tomorrow's high is in the 50's, and by Friday, we're looking at a chance of SNOW and a high near 40 degrees.
