The Best Music of 2021 According to Monk

With 2021 about to wrap up, it's time that I put my musical brain to the test and try and give you my best records and songs of the year!

I think 2021 was a phenomenal year for music! Not only did we get back to some sort of normal, we attended a few concerts, we gathered, but also, a ton of musicians spent the previous year writing new music!

Keep in mind, I am heavily influenced by the fact that I host and curate Indies Only each Saturday night, so most of my favs come from independent or unsigned bands.

Here are a few that I loved and welcomed in 2021. Of course, in no particular order.

Of course, there was absolutely no way I could narrow it down to JUST ten!

And then comes the best songs of this past year. I tried my best to keep it to ten but here's eleven!
