Severe Thunderstorms Possible Tonight and Tuesday in Tuscaloosa

West Alabama could see damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes as part of a severe weather system moving across the South.

The National Weather Service has placed a portion of our listening in a slight risk area for tonight's storms which could begin impacting counties along the Mississippi state line as early as 5 p.m. Gusty winds and small hail are anticipated to be the primary threat from these storms; however, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible over the western half of Alabama tonight. Small hail and gusty winds are the main threats.
