The City of Tuscaloosa will celebrate its 200th birthday with an epic party at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The Bicentennial Bash begins at 2 p.m. and headliners include Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Moon Taxi, Blind Boys of Alabama, and The Commodores--and the best part? It's FREE.
Local artists will also be featured including Lamont Landers, Matt Jones Trio, The Allen Tobert Unit, Early James & The Latest, and Jus Gruv. There will be a Kid's Zone with rides, inflatables, and other activities, and a fireworks show is planned for 9 p.m.
Seating at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater will be first come, first served with gates opening at 1 p.m. The Amphitheater's Clear Bag policy will be in effect; you can read more about that policy and more HERE.
