Paradise Presses Play, Vol 9!

Welcome back to Paradise Presses Play! You ever see a game you remember playing and get that urge to go back and replay it again? The game we're talking about today was taken off of digital stores in 2014, and many have clamored for its re-release since then. And finally, after 10 years, it's back and better than ever.
This week's game is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game
Story: It's a tale as old as time. Boy likes girl. Girl likes boy. Boy tries to date girl. Boy has to defeat several evil exes to win her heart.
Wait what?
Yes that is the situation Scott Pilgrim has found himself in. Trying to win Ramona Flowers' heart by defeating her past. And Ramona has dated some interesting characters. Things are about to get messy so hang on!
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is a side scrolling beat em up with elements of an RPG sprinkled in. You gain experience by beating up various enemies and learn new moves to attack with. With multiple characters to choose from, there's no shortage of diversity in the move set. However, what really makes this game shine is the soundtrack and the graphics.
The 8 bit graphics just really make the game look wonderful. As someone who grew up with those types of games it just makes me smile. But as someone who works in the music industry, what makes things even better is the background music.
Anamanaguchi outdid themselves with the soundtrack. Trying to describe it wouldn't be doing it justice. Just listen to this. If that doesn't get you hyped to fight a boss I don't know what will.
This game is one you shouldn't miss, and since it has been rereleased, go get it and save the world already! Ramona won't wait forever!
