I can't stop talking about how much I love Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center!

I love Doctor Permasetty and the staff at Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center. When I decided to start the program, I knew I wanted to lose weight. I wanted to be able to fit into my jeans without using a shoehorn to squeeze my muffin top back in... You know, that weird hybrid of a jiggle, wiggle, and hop you have to do to get into those jeans... Don't even get me started on trying to zip the jeans, either... I was tired of the hassle and the frustration of not being able to fit into any of my clothes. I wanted to feel confident and most of all, healthy.

Weight loss is a big change, but I am following the program at Tuscaloosa Weight Loss because I want that change and more--I want to live a healthy lifestyle. I want to lose the weight and keep if off. I want to learn how to cook fresh, healthy meals for my family instead of living on grab-and-go greasy fast food.

The three weeks I have been on the program have flown by. I've been on diets before that were TORTURE. You know what I am talking about: you're delirious because you're craving real food, but all you get to eat is nasty pre-packaged food that tastes like the cardboard in which it was shipped. Tuscaloosa Weight Loss isn't like that at all, and I love it because it's different than any diet I've followed before.

I am eating food: real, fresh food like vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and meat. In fact, I'm eating something at least every three hours. For someone who loves food as much as I do, this is AWESOME. It helps to keep my blood sugar leveled out, which means my metabolism is working in full gear and cravings are kept under control.

I've been keeping track of my caloric intake, and it's changing the way I see food. It's always okay to enjoy a decadent dish on occasion, but not every day. Now that I see how many calories are in my favorite junk or comfort foods, I know why I gained weight. I've never thought critically about food before, and Tuscaloosa Weight Loss changed that for me.

I stopped rewarding myself with food. In the past, a tough day at work meant a big piece of cake or a candy bar. Going out to dinner and overeating was my way of "treating" myself. I'm learning new habits now--I'm rewarding myself for each little victory with something new--a new haircolor, an at-home manicure, a bubble bath or a new eyeshadow quad.

I've got more pounds to lose before I hit my goal, but the success I am seeing so far has me energized and ready for more!
