Masks Required at UA Joint Graduation Ceremony
Honestly, I'm glad that UA is taking this situation very seriously.
Spokesperson for the university announced today that all people attending must wear a mask to help halt the spread of COVID-19. Just a quick heads up, masks are for other people's heath and safety. Not yours.
If you don't think masks are of any help. Here's what the US Government has to say about that:
MYTH: Any material that covers my mouth will work as a cloth face covering.
- Fit snugly against the side of the face
- Be secured with ties or ear loops
- Include multiple layers of fabric
- Allow for breathing without restriction
- Be able to be laundered without damaging or changing its shape.
MYTH: I’m immune to the stress and uncertainty that the COVID-19 national emergency may bring.
MYTH: Resources to help children cope with the COVID-19 pandemic are limited.
So with all these facts, wear a mask and help stop this garage virus.
