Commercial Vehicle Crash Closes U.S. 82 in Both Directions in Pickens County
A commercial vehicle crash has closed U.S. 82 in both directions in Pickens County on Tuesday evening, according to the ALEA State Troopers.
Senior Trooper Jere K. Jensen said the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 5:56 p.m. near mile marker 12. Both directions of U.S. 82 are blocked for an undetermined amount of time.

Traffic is being rerouted to Prince Road and then to County Road 30.
Jensen said troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation.
