The 2026 Youth Symposium, designed for youth ages 12–18 and hosted by the Epsilon Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will be held in the Holiday Inn Express Conference Room at 6350 Interstate Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35453.

This free event is open to the youth in Tuscaloosa County, and the "symposium will provide a supportive and engaging environment where teens can learn essential life skills to prepare for their future,” said the press release.

The 2026 symposium will focus on critical topics, including “Future Planning and Mental Health & Social Media.” The event is designed to equip young people with the insight and practical tools needed to make thoughtful choices about their education, career paths, and personal well-being while exploring how social media influences mental health.

“Our Youth Symposium is part of our ongoing commitment to uplifting and preparing the next generation,” said Tracy Williams, Epsilon Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter President. “We want our youth to feel confident, informed, and equipped to succeed in all areas of their lives.”

Attendees can expect to walk away with practical strategies, uplifting encouragement, and the chance to participate in meaningful conversations with community leaders and mentors.
