Incredible Video And Photos From Alabama Wet Microburst
Nature is pretty amazing to watch if you can catch a glimpse.

We have plenty of action in Alabama as well as across the region into some of our neighboring states. James Spann has worked with us here at Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa for many, many years, and nobody has spent more time warning all of us about severe weather. Mr. Spann has also made it clear that getting that perfect video or picture while putting yourself in danger is not a smart course of action.
However, he does share some pretty incredible sights and sounds from storms across Alabama and the Southeast. I have heard him talk about how dangerous a "microburst" can be, and in fact, passenger planes have been brought down by a microburst. Tragically, several lives were lost in Texas when an airplane was driven into the ground by a strong and sudden microburst.
Earlier today, near Dothan, Alabama, a wet microburst was caught on video. It is a pretty disturbing video because it captures just how lethal and strong these weather events can be. James Spann shared this video below earlier today.

Just watch how quickly it crashes through, and it should give you an idea of how much damage they can leave behind. Storms impacted Panama City Beach earlier today, and the video is below.
