Coca-Cola has new drink and it's called 'Life.' So, does this mean it's a healthier drink option than either regular or Diet Coke?

In a clever move, the people at Coke have developed a new soft drink to follow consumer trends of people moving away from sugary drinks, yet concerned about the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is found in Diet Coke and Coke Zero. The new beverage, "Coca-Cola Life" comes with a green label to go along with the use of a natural sweetener called "stevia." This new drink has 1/3 the amount of sugar as regular Coke. It's also lower in calories with 89, compared 140 in the original.

Check out the Tweet with a photo of the new green can:

Unlike other sugar substitutes, Stevia comes from a plant.  WebMD posted a posted this:

Is Stevia a good substitute for sugar?  Yes, says our expert. This natural sweetener is especially good for people with diabetes.

So, when we will see it? The product is already being tested in South America and is ready to hit shelves in Great Britain this Fall. <http://www.beverage-digest.com/">Beverage Digestreports those green cans could be making their to our shelves later this year. But, there is no confirmation of that from the company. So, we'll just have to wait. Or, maybe not. I've heard, it is available at the always fun to visit, World of Coca-Cola. Sure, the place with the massive fountain drink wall to sample flavors from around the world. Some of those international flavors are so nasty. It's funny to pretend how great it is and have someone else try it and spit it up in disgust! Haha.

I've pulled up a "Coca-Cola Life" commercial from Argentina. It goes literal with a scene showing a woman holding a positive pregnancy test, while a dude drinks the green labeled soda. There are plenty of green scenes and a "life" song. I get it, you don't want to bore us with details on what's in the new product. But, seeing a woman holding a pregnancy test doesn't make me thirsty.

See the commercial below.
