Have You Ever given a Complete Stranger a Ride?

In this day and age, most people simply just don't trust the intentions of a complete stranger looking for a ride. Is it right to have this fear?

I say, yes! We see horrible things on the news, watch horrible things happen in movies. Innocent people who become the victim of a stranger with bad intentions. Besides, what did we learn as kids, don't talk to strangers. There you go.

Now, I will say there are exceptions. If you're broken down in the middle of nowhere on Highway 82, I'd check on you and would be willing to help. Would I still question if your breakdown is fake and a plot to rob me? Yes. I can't help it. Maybe, one too many horror movies have tainted me.

Say you are getting gas late at night and you're approached for a ride. Are you okay with this? Not me. Sorry. Am I wrong for this?
