Get Ready for Winter Weather with Tips from the National Weather Service

Most of our listening area is currently under a Winter Storm Warning now through 9 a.m. Saturday, and we want to make sure you know what to do during this time of sleet, snow, and freezing rain. 

The National Weather Service has some great tips for staying safe. The best advice we've seen today is just to stay off the roadways altogether; however, if you have to drive, the graphic below has some valuable information--creating a safety kit for your car could come in handy if you were to get stranded because of ice or snow.
