I was about to eat my lunch. A simple lunch, but MY lunch. I looked forward to eating it and anticipating savoring the flavors of the garden fresh veggies in my salad. Fate, however, had something more sinister in store for me. I was going to ever-so-judiciously apply a bit of salt to my meal when it hit me.

Literally hit me.

I opened the wrong end of my salt shaker and salt poured out EVERYWHERE. My meal was ruined. I learned a valuable lesson today, y'all.
