Loyal B101.7 listeners have been kindly reaching out with concerns about the signal strength of the station.

As we go into day 3 of the problem, more and more have come forward to say they are having trouble 'picking up the station.' Another popular question, 'what's wrong?' and 'what happened?'

The severe weather Sunday night (4/6) damaged our main transmitter in Pickens County. Our engineering crew believes there was a direct lightning strike to the tower as layers of issues have been discovered. The work continues. In the meantime, we continue to broadcast with our lower powered backup transmitter from our Skyland Boulevard studios.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We hate this as much as you do. I would like to suggest our online streaming options as another way to listen. Listen live right here at B1017online.com. The link is in the upper right corner. We have a mobile device app too! It's called RadioPup and we think you'll really like it!

Thanks again for your continued support, we hope to be back up to full power soon.
