5K for Kenya Mission on Saturday at Sokol Park

Start your A-Day with an early morning run for the cause!  That's right, join us for the 11th annual 5k for Kenya Mission Run/Walk!  There will also be the one-mile Children's Challenge Run.

This is a Tuscaloosa Track Club Grand Prix event held on certified course and takes place at Sokol Park.  The registration starts at 6:30am.

5K Run Details:

• Entry fee is $30 (on the day of the event)
• T-shirt for ALL registered entrants
• A delicious pancake breakfast after the run
• Door prizes
• Hanmade Kenyan prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in age categories, masters, grand masters and overall
• Race starts at 8am

1-Mile/Children's Challenge Run Details:

Note: Advance registration packet pick up available on Friday (4/17) between 5 and 7pm at Wagner's RunWalk in Midtown Village.

Funds rasied from this event benefits the former street children at Challenge Farm in Kitale, Kenya, and disadvantaged children at Tenderfeet Education Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
