
Tuscaloosa Woman and Infant Die in Wednesday Crash in Bibb County
A Tuscaloosa woman and a 7-month-old were killed Wednesday afternoon in a fiery head-on collision in Bibb County.
Sergeant Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, confirmed the deadly accident on Thursday.

King said 24-year-old Donshay M. Burton was driving a 2025 Kia K4 sedan on Bibb County Road 9 on Wednesday when she collided head-on with a 2019 Kia Sorento SUV.
ALEA said after the initial impact, the sedan caught fire. Burton and a 7-month-old passenger in the K4 were both fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
The 50-year-old woman driving the Sorento was injured and taken to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital for treatment.
King said the crash happened on Bibb County 9 near Vance Road just outside of West Blocton, in Bibb County.
No other details were available Thursday afternoon.
