These products did not complete the necessary High Pressure Processing (HPP) treatment, which helps extend shelf life and reduce the risk of harmful pathogens such as Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, and diarrheagenic E. coli. Consuming these pathogens can lead to serious health issues. Fortunately, there have been no reported illnesses associated with these juices.

The affected juices were packaged in 12 fl. oz. RPET plastic bottles and shipped in 9-count corrugated boxes. The “Enjoy by 12/02/2024” date can be found on the bottom of the bottles.

The recall was issued after complaints of spoiled juice were received. If you have purchased either of these Happy Moose Juice products, please return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund.

For any questions or concerns, consumers can reach Youngstown Grape Distributors at 559-797-0252 from 8 AM to 4:30 PM PST.
