Organizers say all tickets previously purchased for the Alabama-Ole Miss matchup will remain valid despite the time change. Broadcast information for the exhibition has not yet been announced.

The SEC matchup is part of the third annual Ballin in Boutwell, presented by Nike and Hibbett and hosted by Knight Eady. The preseason college basketball series returns to downtown Birmingham with five men’s and women’s games scheduled throughout the week.

Alabama and Ole Miss will close out the series Thursday night at Boutwell Auditorium, located at 1930 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd.

The 2026 Ballin in Boutwell lineup features several college basketball programs, with this year’s event expanding to showcase both men’s and women’s teams. Organizers have designed the series to give fans an opportunity to see preseason college basketball in an up-close environment before regular-season competition begins.

Those who already purchased tickets do not need to take any action because of the schedule adjustment.

Tickets are still available through the official Ballin in Boutwell website

Media credentials that were previously approved for the Alabama-Ole Miss game will also remain valid for the updated start time. Credentialed media will have access to work on the playing floor.

The updated schedule has doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and Alabama and Ole Miss tipping off at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.
