
West Alabama is Warming Up: Weekend County-by-County Temp Guide
After several weeks of bitterly cold temperatures and dangerous wind chill values, this weekend in West Alabama, we are getting ready to warm up. Compared to last weekend, some counties will have a 13 to 15 degree difference.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said, “It will easily be the warmest week so far this year with highs in the 70s; some South Alabama communities could reach 80 degrees by midweek.”

Is Winter Over?
Short Answer: Meteorological Spring starts on March 1 and runs through May 31.
The Townsquare Media Weather Center will await the results of Groundhog Day on Sunday, February 2. The big question: Will Mr. Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow or not?
