****THIS STORY FEATURES A HIGHLY DISTURBING VIDEO****

No, no, no.

I can't take it anymore.

What is wrong with people? Well, I guess it's not her fault.

Maybe it is her fault.

I do not like snakes. I know some folks love them and go on and on about all the good they do for our planet.

They just are not for me.

This is something that is insane in every way.

It leads to so many questions.

How?

Just start there and tell me how this happened.

What you are about to see is HIGHLY disturbing.

However, it's also a video that you want to show other people.

It is a medical video. It begins with the story of an Alabama woman who had taken her children to the river. I'm not sure which one, but she dozed off for a few minutes.

That is when this woman, sleeping with her mouth open, had a live snake crawl down her throat.

YES, THE SNAKE CRAWLED INTO HER MOUTH AND DOWN HER THROAT.

What???????

I know how you feel.

Are you prepared to see the doctors remove the snake from her esophagus?

Here we go.

This comes from TikTok and Dr. Joe, M.D.

@drjoe_md Ever seen a snake pulled from an esophagus? That’s the price you pay when you fall asleep with your mouth open on a river bed. #snake#endoscopy#gastroenterology#doctor♬ original sound - Dr. Joe, M.D.

Can you wrap your head around what you just watched with your own two eyes?
It took me several minutes to get over the raw shock.
I may never recover from seeing this video.
I'm definitely never going to take a nap by the river.
