Tuscaloosa’s Tinsel Trail Gears Up for Santa and Pet Events

The annual holiday Tinsel Trail tradition brought to you by Tuscaloosa’s One Place is in full festive swing now through January 1, 2026. Government Plaza in Downtown Tuscaloosa has been adorned with over 200 Christmas trees, decorated by local businesses and organizations.

This weekend, Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, you and your family can enjoy Tinsel Trail events with “Suit Up with Santa” and the “Pet Palooza.”

Suit Up with Santa — Saturday, December 6, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Show off your favorite holiday attire for complimentary photos with Santa and a stroll on the Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail. Suit Up with Santa is presented by Price McGiffert Construction Co., Inc.

Pet Palooza — Sunday, December 7, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Let your furry friends enjoy a walk on the Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail, meet community pet partners, grab a free pet treat, and enter to win best-dressed pet and other awards. Pet Palooza is presented by RiverFall Credit Union.
