We love our animals, but do we have enough love to help a desperate animal in dire need of a home?

I’m guilty of turning my head when those tug on your heart tv commercials come on, showing those sad dog and cat faces.

Now we have a crisis here at home in T-Town at our beloved Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.

Sav Morton, a real warrior when it comes to caring for animals in need, says empty parking lots at animal shelters are a heartbreaking sight.

Sav says, “Kennels are overflowing with dogs and cats in need. Overflowing. Empty parking lots mean fewer walks, fewer fosters, fewer adoptions, and less hope”.

Sav Morton says, The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter needs YOU. Volunteers, donors, fosters, and adopters. We can’t help the animals if nobody shows up”.

So, all you big-hearted animal lovers SHOW UP.
