Warning: Alabama Department of Revenue Issues Scam Alert
Listen and look, because I have recently been a victim of these scammers that infest our society and the global Internet.

If these waste-of-flesh jerks would put any of their time or just 1/3 of their time investment into doing something good for this society, there is no telling what could happen.
Recently, I was walking through a grocery store in Northport, chatting with the produce manager, when I saw a text alert on my phone.
The alert came from the Alabama Department of Revenue, so I paid more attention to it, and to make a long story short, I fell for the ridiculousness.
I entered my credit card information into the scammers' portal.
Thankfully, it occurred to me that I was being a complete moron and falling for this scam, so I contacted the bank and was able to obtain a new credit card with no harm done.

It just goes to show how easy it is to fall for these things because of the considerable time and effort they put into making everything look completely legitimate.
The Alabama Department of Revenue is issuing a warning today due to a scam that has already cost many individuals a significant amount of money.
In this case, the text messages appear to be legitimate and seem to be from the Department of Revenue, making some reference to your refund being ready.
At that point, they can try to convince people to provide as much financial information as possible.
The Alabama Department of Revenue does not send text messages for any reason. Additionally, be cautious when clicking on any links that are provided, as this is how they gain access to you and your information.
