Tuscaloosa resident and best-selling author Russell Estes has released the long-awaited follow-up to his best-selling novel about high school football, “When The Lights Go Out.” His new book, “When The Lights Go Out: The College Years,” follows the same characters as the prequel, but tackles the challenges and obstacles that show up in the lives of college students. Follow along as college football intertwines with faith and young adults navigating a new life on campus.

Estes, a Southern storyteller with a touch of humor, adds spiritual lessons to his “breath of fresh air” works. Meet him at the Tuscaloosa Public Library main branch this Saturday, November 29th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the Rotary Room. He will be signing all of his published work and speaking on all of his books.

These books will make an excellent Christmas gift for the sports fan in your life. You don’t even have to be a sports fan to appreciate these faith-based books.
