The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Marginal Risk (Level 1 out of 5) for West Alabama and other Alabama counties, indicating a potential for strong to severe storms.

This risk remains in effect until Friday, August 1, at 10 p.m., with the primary threat being damaging winds of up to 60 MPH.
