First Half 

Three O'clock tip off, an infraction upon the tip by Georgia forward Asa Newell results in an inbound pass for Alabama. After missing the first shot attempt and a defensive drive, Grant Nelson was able to put Alabama on the board first with a free-throw after being fouled. Grant made both shots but one was not counted due to a lane violation by the Crimson Tide.  Georgia gained possession but the Crimson Tide wasted no time to respond as Jarin Stevenson comes down the court next possession and makes the three from an assist by Nelson. Demary and Leffew scoring for the Bulldogs first to get some points up in this first half.

Georgia gains possession going into the second half and wasted no time scoring on the opening drive. Grant Nelson was able to respond to Georgias score with a basket of his own from mid-range. Nelson is starting this half off hot as he is 3-3 shooting. Sears also getting off to a good start in the second half as he is also 3-3 shooting. The score is now Georgia 38, Alabama 50 with 16:00 left in the game. The Crimson Tide is continuing to outshine this Georgia team keeping their lead and even extending it. Alabama is up by 16 points. The score is, Georgia 45, Alabama 61 with 11:42 left in the game. Very physical play as the time continues to count down, Alabama has made 8 of 10 shot attempts over the last few possession changes.
