Alabama's 2026 non-SEC opponents were originally West Virginia, Florida State, and USF. Alabama was set to end a home-and-home with the Seminoles, which started with Alabama's 31-17 loss to Florida State in Tallahassee, Florida, to start the 2025 season. Additionally, Alabama was set to finish a two-for-one with the South Florida Bulls that started in 2023, where the Crimson Tide defeated the Bulls 17-3 in Tampa, Florida in 2023. Alabama defeated USF again in 2024, 42-16, in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama was scheduled to host USF again in 2026.

The game has been moved to 2032 following the addition of Chattanooga for the 2026 season. Alabama had already canceled the Tide's trip to West Virginia earlier this season.
