TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama Baseball jumped up six spots to No. 17 in D1Baseball's top-25 following a 3-1 week highlighted by a 3-1 win over then-No. 17 Troy during the midweek.

The top-five remains SEC dominant, with four of the five spots being taken by SEC programs. The lone non-SEC squad is Florida State at No. 5.

Eight SEC teams take up the remaining twenty spots. The Crimson Tide are nestled between Vanderbilt one spot above them at No. 16, and Texas A&M closely behind at No. 19 — Alabama plays the Aggies next weekend in College Station. The Auburn Tigers are the last SEC team on the list at No. 25, three spots down from their No. 22 ranking last Monday after going 2-2 on the week.

The Crimson Tide have defeated two teams in D1Baseball's newest rankings, No. 21 Troy and No. 24 Coastal Carolina. NC State, who Alabama defeated 4-0 in the Jacksonville Classic, was ranked No. 12 at the time.
