ACC Transfer Wide Receiver is Set to Visit Alabama
On Dec.1, NC State wide receiver Kevin Concepcion declared his intention to enter the transfer portal, initiating his search for a new team, as reported by Hayes Fawcett via X and Instagram.

The Wolfpack kicked off their season with optimism, featuring a solid roster that included Concepcion, a 5-foot-11, 186-pound receiver. In the 2023-24 season, he earned the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year title, was named a Freshman All-American, and a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year award, establishing himself as one of the premier wide receivers in the ACC.
In his first season with the Wolfpack, Concepcion tallied 71 receptions for 839 receiving yards and rushed for 320 yards and 10 touchdowns, according to ESPN. In the 2024-25 season, he recorded 53 catches for 460 yards and six touchdowns, while rushing for 36 yards for two touchdowns. He also contributed on special teams.
Following the announcement of his transfer, several teams expressed interest, including Alabama, where elite wide receiver Ryan Williams commented on Fawcett's Instagram post regarding Concepcion.
According to 247Sports, Concepcion is currently ranked as the No.8 player overall in the transfer portal. With the departure of receivers Kobe Prentice, Caleb Odom, and Kendrick Law, Alabama may be looking to bolster its wide receiver room.
After a week of speculation about his visit to Alabama, it was reported on Monday by Nick Kelly with AL.com and many other sources that Concepcion is scheduled to visit Alabama this week.
